Plasti Dip colour coatings create a flexible rubber finish for compatible automotive parts, tools, household and craft projects. Properly applied coatings can be peeled from most suitable surfaces; removal depends on the surface, preparation and coating thickness.
Choose the right option
- Colours and Camo: rubber coatings for colour and protection. Glossy Black provides a gloss finish without a separate Glossifier coat.
- Smoke: a translucent black-grey coating that gets darker as coats are added.
- Blaze: bright fluorescent colours. Apply over white Plasti Dip for best results. The manufacturer recommends Glossifier with Fadebuster protection; fluorescent colours can still fade and need touch-ups.
- Craft: a smooth, flexible, paintable coating for craft and cosplay projects, including compatible EVA foam and 3D prints.
- Luxury Metal: tinted metallic colour coatings in Black Sapphire and Ultrasonic Blue.
- Glossifier, Metalizer and Pearlizer: finishing top coats that must be applied over Plasti Dip. These are not standalone colour coatings. Glossifier adds shine, Metalizer adds metallic shimmer, and Pearlizer adds a pearlescent sheen.
- Clear Primer: an adhesion-promoting base coat used before Plasti Dip on suitable metal and plastic surfaces. It is not a clear finish or standalone coating. Primer strengthens the bond, so do not assume the same easy removal as an unprimed coating. The manufacturer recommends one coat and at least one hour of drying before Plasti Dip.
Before you spray
Clean and dry the surface, test an inconspicuous area, and follow the instructions and safety precautions on your selected can. Application and drying requirements vary by product. Colour appearance varies with the base colour, number of coats, lighting and screen settings.
